We are so excited to have you join for this year! Get ready to learn from the best. You will learn from 16 AMAZING presenters who will focus on the science of reading, structured literacy, multisensory teaching, and dyslexia awareness.
On-Demand Access + Conference Handouts
Presentations run until Oct 31, 2024. Watch on your own time! Attendees will either receive a 15-hour certificate of completion for watching all presentations, OR may choose a special registration option to earn continuing education credits (CEUs).
Every presenter has generously created handouts for you. They will be FILLED with practical teaching tips, strategies and takeaways to bring back to your home or classroom for you to implement right away.

Who is the conference for?
The Building Readers for Life conference is tailored to anyone working with children on topics like phonemic awareness, structured literacy, dyslexia, morphology, reading comprehension, and executive function, including:
- Educators at the elementary, middle, and high school level
- Tutors
- Parents looking for tools to use at home
How does the conference work?
- All presentations are posted on our learning management platform, Kajabi – you can watch presentations on mobile or desktop
- Starting on Monday, July 29, 2024, your access to presentations and materials opens up – we share several per day for the first few days and after that you can watch at your own pace
- Presenters are available for questions and discussions in the comment section of each presentation
- Choose to receive a Certificate of Completion (15 hours) or earn CE credits from the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) or American Speech–Language–Hearing Association (ASHA) CEUs.
- Access closes on October 31, 2024 so be sure to save all your handout materials by then
- There are no prerequisites for any of our presentations
- Presentations last from 45-70 minutes
- At registration you may choose to upgrade to receive:
- CE credits from IACET or ASHA
- A podcast option to listen to the presentations
HOW TO EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
The Literacy Nest is an accredited IACET provider as well as an ASHA CE approved provider. We are happy to offer a CE or CEU earning track for the conference that you may purchase. We cannot offer partial credit, so you must complete all requirements in order to earn your CEUs.
CEU completion requirements:
- Watch each of the 15 presenter videos (the keynote is available to you but not part of the CEU track)
- Pass a brief quiz after each presentation
- Answer a brief discussion question for each presentation
- Complete these items by October 31, 2024
When all requirements are met you will earn 2 IACET CEUs or 1.3 ASHA CEUs.
